Hannah Darling

As one of the lower handicappers in the Scottish Development Academy, Hannah Darling has been selected to play in the Irish Under 18 Open.  As Hannah is 13 this is a great achievement and I am sure you would like to join me in wishing her all the best.

MCLGA Squad Friendlies

Borders
Our preparations for the 2017 season started in earnest on Sunday 19^thMarch when the squad went to play Borders Ladies in a friendly match at Peebles Golf Club.  Despite heavy rain at the start and a course that was extremely wet underfoot the day proved worthwhile.  As there was a large difference in handicaps and we gave 6,9 & 7 strokes we were unlucky to go down 2:1.

Lanarkshire
Weather wise, Sunday 26th March was the complete opposite at Lanarkshire Golf Club – the sun shone all day and the course was dry. This time we fielded four couples with the matches being played to scratch and we won 2.5 – 1.5.

The event is at Pitreavie Golf Club, Dunfermline on Saturday 15th April.  The morning’s single matches start at 0930

 

East Lothian     v    Stirling & Clackmannanshire

Fife                  v    Midlothian

 

The winners from each match play singles in the afternoon staring at 2.15 followed by the remaining two playing foursomes.
