Scotland Selection

Congratulations to Jane Turner (Craigielaw) and Rachael Watton (Mortonhall) who have both been selected to play for Scotland in the Home Internationals in Cork, 4-6 September.

Hat Trick of wins for Karen

Congratulations to Karen Marshall (Baberton), who won the Strathtyrum Trophy at St Andrews for a remarkable 3^rd year in a row and 6th time in total. Karen beat Ann Ramsay (Kirriemuir) in the final. 

Louise Fraser (Kingsknowe) and Wendy Nicholson (Broomieknowe) also qualified for the match play stages, Louise reaching the quarter finals and Wendy the semi finals.  

Strathtyrum Tournament

Well done Karen Marshall (Baberton), Louise Fraser (Kingsknowe) and Wendy Nicholson (Broomieknowe) on qualifying in 2nd, 3rd and 20th places respectively at the Strathtyrum Tournament at St Andrews this week. All three won their first round match play ties today. Good luck ladies!

Summer Meeting

The re-arranged Summer Meeting took place at Prestonfield today, albeit with a reduced field.  It is great to see that after a very difficult time the course is now recovering and the greens were in great shape.  Many thanks to Prestonfield for allowing us to re-schedule this competition and to the Prestonfield Ladies for all their help today.
