Adult/Girl Competition

The Adult/Girl competition was held on Sunday 18th November on a sunny but very cold day. 22 girls accompanied by Dads, Mums, Grandpas, Grandmas or helpers took part. Lots of good golf was played and all those taking part had lots of fun.

93rd AGM and Prizegiving

The Midlothian AGM and prizegiving took place on Wednesday night.  The AGM opened with a tribute to the late Ethel Jack by President Janet Wake.  Outgoing Captain Mary Richardson said how much she had enjoyed the last two years and thanked the members who had given her the opportunity to be Captain of such a fantastic County. She gave an overview of another very successful year for Midlothian County and thanked everyone who had supported her over the past two years.

Sheila Stuart (Turnhouse) was elected Captain and Wendy Ross (Glencorse) Vice Captain.

AGM

Don't forget the AGM and prize giving is next week - Wednesday 7 November at Liberton Golf Club, starting at 7.30 pm. Look forward to seeing you all there. Please be aware of Liberton's dress code - no jeans or trainers.

Adult/Junior 9 hole competition

Don't forget to enter our adult/ junior competition which takes place at Swanston on Sunday 18 November. Entries close 4 November. Girls don't need to have a handicap! If you don't have a partner but would like to play, let us know.

Stephen Gallacher Foundaton Flag event at Swanston

This month our 9 hole competition was held in conjunction with a Stephen Gallacher Foundation Flag event at Swanston. It was a lovely sunny day for all the boys and girls and with over 50 taking part, it was a fantastic day. Many thanks to all at Swanston Golf Club, especially Bobby Rushford who was a tremendous help in the lead up to the event and the event itself. The course was in great condition considering the weather in the past week and all the boys and girls enjoyed the course and played to a very high standard.

Well done to Midlothian girls Emma Watson, Samantha MacGregor and Lucy Morrison who were well placed in their respective categories. The winners on the day were as follows:
