Eight girls braved the extremely windy conditions today. Scores (remarkably good in the conditions!) were as follows:

Daily Mail Foursomes

Dee Williams & Karen Ferguson-Snedden

Congratulations to Dee Williams and Karen Ferguson-Snedden on winning the Daily Mail Foursomes.  They met Worfield's Sally Weaver and Paulette Morris in the final and found themselves on the back foot only six holes from home.  Displaying typical Scottish fighting spirit they refused to accept defeat and dug their heels in.  Helped by a couple of mistakes by their opponents Karen and Dee took advantage of the errors and  came back to secure a win by one hole.

Well done, Ladies!

Junior Girls event at Swanston, on 15th October 2017.

There will be the usual 9 hole event on the Swanston Templar course, on Sunday 15th October 2017, at 9.30am. If you can let us know in advance that you are coming (email sarah.c.hannay@gmail.com) that would be helpful, but if that is not possible you can just turn up for 9.30am. The cost is £5 payable on the morning.

The draw for the East of Scotland Championship to be held at Royal Burgess on Sunday 15th October has now been done and distributed to the various County Secretaries, MCLGA club Reps and the players on the day.
