Following the Scottish Girls' Championship at Lanark this week, the SLGA has announced the teams to represent Scotland in the Girls' Home International Matches and the Girls' British Open Amateur Championship. Rachael Watton (Mortonhall) has been chosen as one of the team of 8 for the Girls' Home International Matches being held at Fairhaven Golf Club in Lancashire from the 4th-6th August and also to play and Captain the team of 3 whose scores will count for Scotland in the International Team Event at the Girls' British Open Amateur Championship being held at West Lancashire Golf Club from 10th-14th August. Gabrielle Macdonald (Craigielaw) was named as one of the reserves for the Girls' Home Internationals, and the team will be managed by Karen Marshall (Baberton).
The Scotland Team to take part in the European Senior Ladies' Team Championship at Dun Laoghaire Golf Club in Dublin from the 1st-4th September has also been announced. To be Captained by Pam Williamson (Baberton), the team will include Fiona de Vries (St Rule) and Fiona Hunter (Baberton) with Noreen Fenton (Dunbar) as 1st reserve.
