The Mary McKenna Trophy today fell out of Scotland's hands and into those of the Irish. After yesterday's fourballs, the teams were level both having won two of the games a-piece and so it was all to play for in the singles today. With 7 of the 8 matches going down the 18th, Ireland just sneaked the win by 4.5-3.5, giving an overall total of 6.5 to 5.5.
Hard lines to the Scottish team. It sounds like a great match.
