Junior Coaching - February

The next block of Junior Coaching at the Braids Driving Range began on Sunday. 38 girls have already signed up for this and Sunday's session was well supported with 29 of them coming along. The winter bug had put pay to some of the other girls turning out. Our thanks to Ian Young and Paul Malone for their time.

Please note that the 10 am session is now full. However, we do still have spaces available in the 11 am and noon sessions. If you are interested in joining in, please let Kate Rorke know when you return your subscription notices or e-mail the Captain, specifying your preferred time.

The 9 holes at the Princes Course also begins a week on Sunday (15th February, 10.30 am). We currently have a total of 15 girls signed up for this, with 11 of them able to come in February. Again, if you would like to attend, please let Kate know when you return your sbscriptions or contact the Captain. February will see the start of the 9-hole competition which will run until August.

Centenary Tri-Am Competition

There was some confusion at the Centenary Lunch over the date for the Tri-Am competition. It turns out that Ethel had the correct date and the hecklers were wrong!

Please note that the Centenary Tri-Am Competition will be held on THURSDAY 9th JULY 2009 at Duddingston Golf Club. A poster and entry forms will be handed out to the Club Reps at the Committee Meeting on Wednesday 25th February. Entry will be in groups of three, two or individually.

The Centenary Tri-Am Sub-committee are planning a lot of fun prizes and we hope as many of you as possible will be able to play.
