Junior/Adult competition at Swanston on 16th November

This competition is open to all our junior girls with or without handicaps. Its your chance to play with your Mum, Dad, sisters /brothers/ Grans or Grandads or any other adult friend or relative you can find to play with you. If you can't find anyone please let us know as we will then provide you with a partner.


This is a foursomes format over 9 holes starting at 10.30.


Diane will be sending all juniors an attachment with the application form to be returned or e mailed to Sharon Macpherson our junior secretary who will do the draw on 13th November.

East of Scotland Championship results

The East of Scotland Championship was held at Falkirk Tryst yesterday and it was a good day for Midlothian.

Congratulations to Kate McIntosh(Broomieknowe) who won 2nd Scratch with a 71 (bih), one stroke behind the winner, Susan Jackson(Ladybank) who scored 70.

Midlothian won all the handicap prizes as follows:

1st Megan Linton (Craigmillar Park)   85(19)66
2nd Emma Morrison (Craigmillar Park) 75(8)67
3rd Wendy Nicholson(Broomieknowe) 73(4)69

The CSS was 71 (SSS 71)

The team trophy (best 3 gross scores) resulted in a tie between Fife, Midlothian and Stirling &Clackmannanshire all having 217 points. The best 4th score was the decider with Fife winning the trophy.

Well done everyone and thanks to Stirling and Clackmannanshire for hosting the competition.
