February at Swanston with the Juniors

10 girls took part in our monthly competition on Swanston's Templar course last Sunday. It was pretty cold and a variety of cold weather gear was on show, including some very cool hats! The course was in its 6 hole layout, with temporary greens, but each hole is a bit longer than the 9 hole layout. So although this won't count towards our annual 9 hole order of merit, the results for this competition were:

Scottish Vets Team

Congratulations to Karen Ballantyne (Craigmillar Park) who has been selected for the Scottish Vets team to play in the annual match against an Irish Senior Select for the Mary McKenna Perpetual Trophy. The match will take place at the Hilton Templepatrick Golf Club in Northern Ireland on 14 and 15 April 2012.
