MCLGA Fund Raiser - Baberton Golf Club Saturday 3rd September

Please find below the draw for the MCLGA fundraising event at Baberton Golf Club on Saturday.  This has been distributed to all team captains together with the competition rules.  Good luck to all teams participating.

Winning Weekend for our Junior Girls

Congratulations to Hannah Darling, Broomieknowe who won the under 14 section of the junior series at Glencorse over this weekend with two great scores of 71 and 69 for a total of 140 to win by 7 shots.  

Also congratulations to Eilidh Crawford, Kingsfield who won the Scratch at the East of Scotland Girls Autumn meeting at Dunnikier Park with a 73.  Emma Morrison, Craigmillar Park won the U18 section 74-5 = 69, Lauren Reid, Greenburn won the U16 section 89-16 = 73 and Ellie Ferguson, Swanston New won the U14 section 101-32=69.

2016 Gibson Cup Challenge Trophy

This year's Gibson Cup will be played over The Braid Hills Golf Course on the weekend 8 and 9 October.

The format is unchanged - strokeplay qualifier on Saturday. Two flights of matchplay for the Cup and Plate, with a Stableford round for the Consolation Salver on Sunday.

All rounds played as Foursomes.

This is a welcoming tournament and a fun finale to the season with two rounds guaranteed.
