Borders
Our preparations for the 2017 season started in earnest on Sunday 19thMarch when the squad went to play Borders Ladies in a friendly match at Peebles Golf Club. Despite heavy rain at the start and a course that was extremely wet underfoot the day proved worthwhile. As there was a large difference in handicaps and we gave 6,9 & 7 strokes we were unlucky to go down 2:1.

Weather wise, Sunday 26th March was the complete opposite at Lanarkshire Golf Club – the sun shone all day and the course was dry. This time we fielded four couples with the matches being played to scratch and we won 2.5 – 1.5.
